Horse Corps
We have long noticed the need of transportation for our chaplains in the northern section of Sudan, Bahr El Ghazal. Though camels are prevalent in the prevalent in the Nubas, horses are commonplace in Bahr El Ghazal. The horses we will be purchasing are a cross between an Arabian and a Kenyan workhorse, giving them the ability to have great endurance and yet resist disease. We currently have 40 chaplains working in this vast region. Just like the Camel Corps, they too would be able to minister to the remote places in Northern Sudan, but on horseback. Unlike now, they would have the ability to show the Jesus file to thousands of unreached people. We are endeavoring to raise enough funds to purchase and outfit 20 horses. Each horse completely outfitted will cost $1,500. Many of you may not be able to afford a whole horse but can truly be a part by buying a quarter of a horse for $375.00.
