Bob and Suzanne Scott

Bob was raised in Western Michigan and came to the Lord in 2003 while working in Southern California. Bob followed after worldly lusts until the Lord got a hold of his heart and showed him the sin he was committing. From the beginning he has felt a call towards missions and has had a heart to serve the Lord.

Suzanne was raised in Southeastern Michigan where she attended church and believed in Jesus from an early age. However, college was where she began to understand what it meant to follow Christ and really live her life for Him. She attended Calvary Chapel Bible College and felt the Holy Spirit pulling her towards missions and following Christ wherever He would lead.

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” II Chronicles 16:9a

Bob and Suzanne were married in 2005 and looked forward to serving together in the mission’s field. After hearing about the conflict in Sudan and Uganda, they were moved to pursue work in Africa. The Lord led them to Far Reaching Ministries and the Kampala Guesthouse Ministry in Uganda.

Bob and Suzanne are currently serving as the Guesthouse Managers where they host short-term mission’s teams, support the long-term FRM missionaries in the field, and support FRM’s U.S. office administratively. Bob teaches the chaplains in Southern Sudan and teaches at the Calvary Chapel Kampala Bible College, when needed. Their heart is to venture into West Africa and plant a church in 2012.

“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.” Philippians 3:8
