Natasha Chilikina

Natasha was born in the Soviet Union (now, the Russian Federation). She grew up during the rime of the Cold War and knew nothing about God or the Bible. Her hope was in the system and in the Soviet government. She had an empty life with no true home. When the “iron curtain” fell, missionaries from all over the world were able to come to Russia and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A great revival took place in Russia. More and more people were hearing the gospel and Natasha was saved in 1993.

Immediately Natasha started serving side-by-side with the missionaries who had come to her city. She participated in evangelism, women’s ministries, in the worship ministry, and a variety of other ministries while trying to raise her young daughter, Masha, in the ways of the Lord. She attended Calvary Chapel Bible College and later participated in a missionary training program. From the time she was saved, God had put into her heart a desire to me a missionary in another country. So, after the mission training program, she was sent to a nearby city as a part of a team of missionaries on a church plant to the city of Kolchugino, Russia. She served there for 4 ½ years until 2008.

In 2006, she heard a presentation by Far Reaching Ministries about Africa and knew right away that God was putting it on her heart to go there. From that moment to the present day, in every detail, she has seen God open the way for her to serve there. In February 2008 she had the opportunity to go to Africa for a short term mission trip. She saw many people who live without God’s love and hope in their lives; kids who suffer from hunger and violence. Her desire is to tell these people about Jesus and His amazing love for them.

” For ‘whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.’ How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” Romans 10:13-15

” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” Isaiah 6:8
